Board of Appeals

The Board has five members who are appointed by the Board of Supervisors:

  • William Lutz Jr. - Chairman
  • Paul Walsack- Vice Chairman
  • Michael Keller - Secretary
  • Thomas Baglivo
  • Jack Duddy

Responsibilities & Purpose

The Board of Appeals helps to ensure the fair and equitable application of the Building Codes by hearing appeals to decisions by the Code Enforcement Officer and Fire Marshal.

The Board schedules hearings for submitted applications of appeals. During the hearing, evidence is submitted. A written decision is subsequently issued based upon the facts presented and the interpretation of applicable laws.
